The Chapel of St. Barbara is located on the slopes above the Labská Valley, in a quiet location near the Hromovka Hotel. The modern wooden structure, sensitively embedded in the Krkonoše landscape, was created on the initiative of local enthusiasts and was completed in 2023.
The chapel is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners and protector from danger, which symbolically refers to the history and harsh conditions of this region. Architecturally, it is based on traditional Krkonoše elements - dominated by wood, shingles and a simple tower with a bell.
Thanks to its location, it offers beautiful views of the valley and the Elbe Dam (Labská přehrada). Today, the Chapel of St. Barbara is a place of quiet pause, contemplation and small spiritual meetings.
