A trip for breaktalking views. The Medvědín cable car will help the first ascent, then through the "Sviňské louže", snow-covered footpath, and "Šmídova vyhlídka" (viewpoint) you will reach Masaryk´s road. And there is the last ascent in front of along the road to "Vrbatova bouda" with panoramic view of the western part of the Giant Mountains. In nice weather you can see the Bohemian Paradise. Anyone who has taken a sledge can go down the snowy road to Horní Mísečky. Just wath out for the ubiquitous cross-country skiers. From Horní Mísečky along the "Vodovodní cesta" (blue ski slope in winter) to Špindlerův Mlýn. Or take the same way back to the Medvědín.
moreA walk behind the winter fairy tale will guide you and accompany the river Elbe. You will step from the white bridge up river, around the Medvědín (cable car), the Myslivna restaurant (confluence of the Elbe and White Elbe), to the Dívčí lávky. And you are already in the magical fairytale valley of the Bílé Labe...fluffy snow duvets, trees like from the fairy tale about Frozenman, crunching snow, frozen waterfalls and pools. At the end of the valley, the warmth of the mountain chalet Bílé Labe awaits you. Under acceptable snow conditions, you can go back to Špindlerův Mlýn from the chalet along the Dřevařská cesta (yellow tourist sing) and look at the beauty from a height.
