Mountain hike | Špindlerůvka - Pramen Elbe - Špindlerův Mlýn

Explore the beauty of the Krkonoše National Park on a unique ridge hike that takes you from Špindlerův Mlýn to Prameni Elbe. This demanding route measures up to 19 kilometers and will take you around 6 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views and get to know the places that make this area so unique.
Start by bus
The journey starts in Špindlerův Mlýn, from where you will take a bus to Špindlerův bouda. This is where your walking adventure on the path of Czech-Polish friendship begins.
Around Peter's hut on ridges
Walk past Peter's shed, through Dívčí and Mužská kameny, and continue to the crossroads above Martin's shed.
High wheel
Reach the highest point of the route, Vysoké kola with a height of 1,509 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Natural monuments
Before you reach Prameni Labe, you will still walk along the path of Czech-Polish friendship (red) through Sněžné jámy, Violík and Česká budka.
You can recognize the snow pits from afar thanks to the Wavel transmitter, which was used as a tourist hut in the past. If you are caught by bad weather on this section of the route, i.e. from Peter's bouda to Sněžný Jamá, you will meet a tourist shelter halfway at the crossroads to Martin's bouda.
Return to Špindlerův Mlýn:
The route continues to the Labská bouda and then to the Labská and Pančava waterfalls, the highest in the Czech Republic, through Zlaté návrší and Vrbatova bouda to Horní Míseček and back to the center of Špindlerův Mlýn.
For the return trip from Zlaté núvrší, you can use the summer tourist bus, which will bring you closer to Horní Mísečky and from Medvědín, return to the center of Špindlerův Mlýn by cable car.
