This gravel route takes you deep into the forests and foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains. Technical climbs, gravel sections, and beautiful views await you.
From Špindlerův Mlýn you climb along the panel road towards the Hromovka hotel and Strážné (village), where you connect to a quieter section leading to the Stráženský lom (quarry). From here you will continue along the nature path around Hanapetrova paseka (meadow), which is a beautiful section, and then the climb continues to Tetřeví boudy (chalet), below the Lesní bouda (chalet) to Chata Mír (chalet) . Now you are above the village of Černý důl , from here you will find a steep descent into the valley - we recommend increased caution here. From Černý Důl the route continues past the local limestone quarry to the village of Lánov, here you connect to the "Rumovka" dirt road and return back to the village of Strážné. The end of the route copies the initial part - return via the Hromovka hotel to Špindlerův Mlýn.
Who is the route for?
For gravel riders who have already "ridden something" and want to enjoy a medium-long but intense route in varied terrain - a combination of mountain sections, forest paths and quiet roads. A great ride for cyclists who want to enjoy nature and less frequented corners of the Krkonoše Mountains.
