Ten rules on the piste

1. Considering other skiers

Every skier or snowboarder must always behave in a manner that does not endanger or harm anyone else.

2. Mastering speed and way of driving

Every skier or snowboarder must ride at a reasonable distance, taking into account the distance he / she can see. They must adapt their speed and their way of driving to their art, terrain, snow and weather conditions as well as traffic density.

3. Track selection

A skier or snowboarder coming from behind must select his / her track so as not to endanger the skier riding in front of him.

4. Overtaking

It can overtake from the top or bottom, from the right or from the left, but always at a distance, which gives the overtaken skier or snowboarder enough space for all his movements.

5. Entering and starting

Any skier or snowboarder who wants to enter a downhill course or want to start again after stopping must look up and down and make sure he can do so without risk to himself or others.

6. Stopping

Every skier or snowboarder should avoid unnecessarily staying on narrow or confusing slopes. A skier or snowboarder who has fallen must clear such a place c as quickly as possible.

10. Obligation to prove yourself

Every skier or snowboarder, whether witness or participant, whether responsible or not, is obliged to prove their personal data in the event of an accident.
