HANDICAP ROUTES in Špindlerův Mlýn
Barrier-free access to natural beauty
Discover the Giant Mountains without barriers
A new chapter of tourism is opening in Špindlerův Mlýn and the wider Krkonoše Mountains, focused on barrier-free access. Thanks to the cooperation of the KRNAP Administration, the Civic Association "No Limits" and the organization "Krkonoše - Union of Cities and Towns", even disabled tourists and families with strollers can now fully experience the unrepeatable beauty of these picturesque mountains. This project presents ten carefully selected routes that are specially adapted to be easily accessible for everyone, regardless of physical limitations.
These routes were created with the aim of making the natural gems of the Krkonoše Mountains accessible to a wider range of visitors and providing the opportunity to experience active relaxation without barriers. Each route is clearly marked and regularly maintained, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey through nature. Thanks to this project, the Giant Mountains are becoming a model of inclusive tourism, where beauty and accessibility go hand in hand.
This initiative not only improves the quality of life of local and international tourists with reduced mobility, but also contributes to the development of tourism in the region by emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and equal opportunities. The Krkonoše Mountains thus open their arms to all who want to experience their infinite beauty, regardless of physical limitations. This is how they become an example for other tourist destinations in the Czech Republic and in the world.
