Where mountain peaks meet the azure sky, a stream of crystal clear water springs from the depths of the earth, gradually transforming into a mighty river that nourishes and beautifies the surrounding landscape. It is in the heart of the Giant Mountains that a fairy tale full of beauty and life of the summer nature of the Giant Mountains takes place.

Start your trip at the iconic White Bridge in the center of Špindlerův Mlýn, from where you can take the cable car up to the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains or walk to the picturesque Labský dol. Along the way, you will be captivated by the Pančava Waterfall - the highest in the Czech Republic - where the Pančava River turns into a mighty stream and falls in several cascades into the depths of the Labský dol. Just above the waterfall, the legendary Labe spring springs up - the symbolic beginning of one of the largest Czech rivers - and nearby you will be welcomed by the Labská bouda mountain chalet. Below the Labská bouda, the Labe River plunges into the wild valley through the Labský vodopád waterfall and continues along a riverbed full of picturesque meanders. On its way down, the Labe also creates smaller rapids and water cascades - for example, the romantic Malý Labský vodopád - and at the former hunting lodge it finally connects with its mountain tributary, the Bílý Labe. The combined waters then head towards the Elbe Dam, where their ferocious flow is tamed by a high dam – the final point of this water story. And it is just waiting for you to discover it yourself!
